Jay Syzdek

Founder, Leader & Chief Technology Officer
Jay founded his first company, Jaymunda, Inc., in 2004. Over the next several years, he grew it into a multi-office business with locations across several states, eventually selling the company in 2010. With the exit funds, Jay launched One Blink Tech that same year, with a clear focus on building brands and helping his clients make money. Jay has spent over 20 years managing multi-million-dollar software development projects and leading teams of all sizes spanning across the globe.
His impressive client list includes Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, Virginia Tech, the Philadelphia Parking Authority, and even local Philadelphia favorites like Rita’s Ice. Jay’s expertise spans every phase of web and software development—from business and functional requirements to coding, testing, documentation, and beyond. He’s known for delivering high-quality results with precision, balancing multiple tasks seamlessly.
When Jay’s not driving business results, he’s been playing piano for over 33 years and alto sax for 27, having had the fortune to perform with legends like Bobby McFerrin, Marc Johnson, and Leslie Odom, Jr. An avid hiker and camper, he enjoys taking weekend trips with his family to their mountain retreat in West Virginia. An autodidact by nature, Jay’s passion for learning covers everything from diving deep into business books as well as philosophy, physics, and human psychology.

Chef Pagbaya, PMP

Partner & Director of Operations

Chef brings over fifteen years of experience in technology, excelling in testing, product management, and project delivery. Prior to joining One Blink Tech, he led quality assurance initiatives at Elsevier and Vanguard, overseeing complex testing processes, managing cross-functional teams, and refining standards across the software development lifecycle. His expertise spans test strategy design, execution, and documentation, consistently guiding large-scale projects to timely, successful outcomes—whether under Agile or waterfall frameworks.

Known for cultivating trust, fostering collaboration, and maintaining transparency, Chef aligns technical execution with strategic business goals. He thrives in high-pressure situations and ensures that clients receive solutions that are both innovative and rigorously tested.

Outside the office, Chef loves to return home to Togo when he can, where he hikes the lush, village mountains and helps care for his family’s farm animals. In his free time, he expands his knowledge of winemaking—a passion he hopes to one day turn into a personal venture.

Mike Shirk

Partner & Vice President of Marketing
Mike earned his BA in Art and Design from Penn State University before diving into the world of marketing and design. His professional journey began in 1987 as a Graphic Designer with Partners Design. By 1994 he was approached by Perceptive Marketer Agency to be their Art Director, where he honed his craft and led creative campaigns. In 2000, Mike struck out on his own, founding Shirkworx, a full-service agency that quickly gained a reputation for innovation and results.
In 2021, Shirkworx merged with One Blink Tech, where Mike continues to wear multiple hats, driving marketing strategy, client development, and creative direction. Over the years, he’s produced a wide range of work, including print collateral and magazines, to websites and digital marketing. His client list includes several heavyweights: Johnson Matthey, Pfizer, and Air Products, to name a few.
Mike is certified in UX Design, AI and ML, and Google Cloud, and he holds Google’s certifications in Digital Marketing and Responsible AI. His talent lies in problem-solving, shaping content, and bringing clarity and style to complex challenges. People trust him deeply because he consistently delivers creative, out-of-the-box solutions that get results.
When he’s not working, you can find Mike hiking, staying fit, or playing guitar. He’s been passionate about jazz and reggae for years and dreams of retiring to a Caribbean island to start his own reggae band.
